Europe and an Education

My love for travel began when I took my very first trip to Disney World at age four...I'm kidding. I was twelve when my mother suggested I take a trip to Ukraine with my Baba (grandmother); we started discussing it, and by thirteen I went, I saw, and I was hooked. Now at twenty, my passion has only grown stronger. How does that quote go? "Once the travel bug bites, there is no antidote"? Well I was bitten. Currently, I am attending an educational institution to get a diploma in Travel and Tourism. Could I have picked something a little more sensible? Sure I could, but why not do something I love to do? I'd rather be happy and make other's happy every day, and this grants me an opportunity to do just that. I will continue being a middle class traveler with high class taste. I think that's what I want to share in this blog: with proper planning, a little effort, and knowing where to look, you can get a holiday fit for a lady (or a gentleman) on a bank account with not-so-many-zeroes.Upon my return from my last trip (Europe in September 2015), I knew that I had to see more of God's beautiful world, and that was that. This had been on my mind for some time; I had looked into travel courses before and hadn't committed. I took a few detours after graduating high school, but coming home from the most extensive trip of my life and having loved every minute of planning our grand adventure, I finally made the leap. Ten months resigned to this city with no summer holidays... I am going crazy just thinking about it. In the meantime, I’ve decided to relive my past travels by making a blog dedicated to them and those in my future. As to my career afterwards, I am not 100% sure what I will do with myself. This is what I do know: I love planning trips and taking them, and I love researching and writing. So why not blog about it? (Third times a charm, right?) Besides, my Baba had suggested I upload a video online about our trip, but videos aren’t my thing. Instead, I will write a detailed account of our travels. Perhaps one day I will get a handle on the whole YouTube thing, but today is not that day. Apart from making this blog for my family’s and my own enjoyment, I hope you all can enjoy it too.P.S. Feedback is highly encouraged. I am potentially striving to be a travel writer and anything can help me along the way.Thanks,Cat.
