4 Day London Itinerary
Here is the rough itinerary I made based on my trip to London last year. If you want to read more about my trip in detail, you can check the posts out here. I just thought I would lay it out on one post. Keep in mind, I didn't follow this exact itinerary as we did travel to Italy and Greece in between, and I also tweaked this itinerary so it's a little more efficient than all the running around we did.
Day 1 – Arrive at LHR Check in to hotel, have dinner along the Queens Walk and visit the London Eye as the sun sets.
Day 2 – Westminster Abbey in the morning, head to Buckingham Palace for 11 to see the changing of the guard, have lunch in St James Park and visit Buckingham Palace in the afternoon. Walk around Big Ben and the Parliament Buildings. Visit Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square and have dinner nearby.
Day 3 – Visit the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, and the Monument. Visit King’s Cross Station and the London Library in the late afternoon. Have dinner at Covent Garden in a pub.
Day 4 – Visit Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Gardens. Visit Kensington Palace and check out any of the free museums in the area like the V&A.
Day 5 – Head home.
So there it is! What you can see in just three and a half days in London. I would highly recommend staying in the central city and using airbnb if you need to save money. It's worth it to be able to hop on the tube and go without commuting inwards.
