Staying at the Grosvenor Gardens Hotel Edinburgh
Walking in to the Grosvenor Gardens Hotel can be a little overwhelming, especially if you’re not a huge fan of pink. The entire place was very ornately decorated in a tacky mixture of Victorian and Asian style decor.Don’t get me wrong, our room was beautiful and clean. It had a giant pink crystal chandelier, fake pink fireplace, a pink four poster bed. The bathroom looked newly renovated and was not so pink, with a huge soaker tub.Our hosts here took good care of us, and made an excellent Scottish Breakfast. If you can get over the decor (or maybe it’s your style) this place is a great place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, and quiet: it checks off my boxes.I did find this place to be a little pricey, but we were pressed for time and needed a place as soon as I could book it. Overall, it ended up being quite comfortable.
