Lake Louise, Alberta in the Winter
You all might have read about my first trip to Lake Louise this summer, but I’m writing today to share with you the lake in a different light. When Derek and I stopped in for a visit this January, we got to see the lake in true Canadian glory, buried under the snow. There were families playing pond hockey, Canadian themed ice sculptures to view, and kids building snow castles on the shore.People from all corners of the world were walking across the lake, sharing a piece of this magical place. The make-shift zamboni was busy, creating the perfect place to throw on your skates and enjoy the best of winter. With dog-sleds and sleigh-rides leaving from here, you could never be bored. So come soak up Canadian winter in a place where it’s done best: the Rocky Mountains.
