Best Miami Boutique Hotel: SJH South Beach

The San Juan Hotel in South Beach is one of the best Miami boutique hotels. It's a just a short walk away from all the action on Ocean Drive, but you would never know it while resting in its quiet and glamorous interior.

The hotel perfectly captured the essence of a beach town in a classy way, and the room had all the necessary creature comforts.

The pool is very instagrammable - tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and the greenest bushes filled with pretty little song birds. It was so relaxing to just lay by the pool after a busy day exploring in the Miami heat.

Breakfast was served by the pool every morning, and then packed away to give guests space to lounge in the afternoon sun.

This was one of the best continental breakfasts I have ever experienced at my many hotel stays. Everything was so fresh. I even found a new favourite meal - avocado, tomato, and cream cheese sandwiches!

Cocktail hour at the hotel bar was a dream! I loved all the lobby decor. They definitely incorporated the signature South Beach Art Deco style without overdoing it.

When traveling, it really is about the little things. I loved this little pink lemonade setup. An ice cold drink is very necessary when visiting Miami in July.

The staff at SJH were so personable and made our stay even better. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome during our time there.

I really appreciated all the lovely little spaces to sit outside of the room. We were definitely able to enjoy this feature much more pre-covid of course.

Once it's safe to travel again, I'd love to travel back to the city just to catch some much needed R&R at this Miami boutique hotel!
