Banff Store Favourites
When in Banff last, I got the opportunity to visit some of my favourite shops – old and new! I thought I’d share a few of them here with you. First on my list is the Banff Sweet Shoppe, a fully inclusive stop from vintage favourites to trendy imports to Canadian specialties.
I love to browse the cute displays, and one of the best parts is that you can pick up a souvenir or gifts for friends back home for just pocket change!
Another old treasured place is the Spirit of Christmas, a lovely place spreading the joy of the season in every season.
It’s really fun to explore and has the best ornaments ever, with a huge selection.
Another store I found on my last visit (although I’m not sure if it’s new or old!) is the Provisions General Store, providing everything from groceries to home décor. Everything in the store is obviously stocked with quality and the vibes of Banff in mind. I know I could definitely blow my budget on their wine and cheese selection! It is definitely a store to shop at if you are interested in shopping sustainably.
One of the more unique places we stopped in was Evoolution, an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting bar. Upon talking with one of the staff, I found they are actually from Edmonton, and have two shops set up in the city, and one in St Albert. My sister and I sampled a couple oil and vinegar parings and picked up a couple things for later…it was delicious!
Definitely a must for any cook or foodie. The store itself was beautiful. You can order many of their things online, and they share recipes and ideas on their website.
Last on my list is Branches Marketplace, a beautiful store designed and stocked with nature in mind. It is a beautiful gift store, with fashion, beauty supplies, and artisanal goods.
I can’t wait to try out the soap bar shampoo I picked up from there, perfect for the traveler!
They also had beautiful rustic décor items, jewelry, and men’s care products - great for any lover of the Northwest style.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this roundup of my favourite stores! I have linked all of them within this post if you are interested in learning more. I really enjoyed walking the streets of Banff wearing the most soft blanket scarf ever from Zara. It's super cozy: perfect for the chilly mountain air!
